K300-G: Car PC with GPS module system

What's up guys,

I found this interesting while conducting a weekly

and thought this was interesting. It is an all in one, single din, in dash, carpc with touchscreen tft and gps built in. As the link states its still in its show stages and maybe if we hit these people up with an email or two showing interest we could be the first to get our hands on it here in the states. Looks nice, but it is WinCE rather than XP/2k/ME so if you didn't like the front end, not of the ready made ones would work with it.

This monitor was already discovered by a Member here in the forums, i think it will be ages before its out !!

ahh okay, guess it wouldn't work for our purposes. what i do wonder is if they have this without the OS and just as a motorized monitor of some sort rather than a "complete system"

so close, yet so far.... :: sigh ::

Good find Core212, but alas, there have been many different threads recently about the possibilty of a new screen combined into a single DIN motorised housing, some have DVD built in (alough its propietry), some have VGA inputs but no TOUCHSCREEN, some have both, a collaberation of all these ideas was built in a thread here on the forums some months ago everybody submitted what they like to see in such as design for a new screen and a manafacturing company where to design the screen, mainly for this mp3car community, unfortunatly there were complications with the thread subject with regards to the forums admins, and the thread was removed, at present there is no such unit built, promises promises of many others but the majority of which all appear to be vaporware!, (non existant), apparantly some of the screens are built but only avaliable in other countries like taiwan or so. so i rekon its gonna be a while before there is anything avaliable in the US or UK or for Europe aswell for a while. there is however a motorised housing currenty been discussed in the threads that looks slightly interesting, would make a nice addition to a lilliput or xenarc screen if the installation was feasable.
