Well I am looking for any and all software that can be used to control my PCR. It seems XM is slamming all 3rd party developers of Software with Cease and Desist orders... MFrs!! So I am trying to grab up any program I can before they are gone...

Wish that were true. This is from the xtremepcr site. By far the most popular XMPCR software.

    28 October 2004

Due to Cease and Desist orders from XM Satellite Radio, the content previously held at xtremepcr.com is no longer available. The fun and enthusiasm I once held in designing and developing Xtreme PCR, as well as the positive feelings and excitement toward the service, have unfortunately been replaced by threats of legal action from the company.

To all the users of Xtreme PCR, I am sorry to say that development of the software has come to an end -- at least for the foreseeable future. Time and (mostly) the legal costs prohibit me from continuing this endeavor. It was a labor of love, and was fun while it lasted.

Thank you for all of the support, compliments, and good times over the last year.
This really saddens me. I have a PCR with the TOS mod. The plan was to use it in the car computer. I was willing to put up with the spotty reception, but I will not tolerate a heavy handed attitude towards develpers.

Soon as my Sirrus radio arrives I will have my PCR and Roady II for sale.

I use XtremePCR and what Frodo released in his 1.0.9 version

XtremePCR is nice because it will notifiy you if favorite artist and/or songs are playing and has a "last channel' button. So you can jump back and forth from your last listened channel and the current.

The only draw back from XtremePCR is that it doesnt hibernate at all.

FrodoPlayer hibernates if you do not remove the XMPCR from your car and then re-plug it in before resuming.

Can someone post the last copy of XTreme PCR software? I've searched and haven't been able to find it anywhere.

    Thanks in advance
