    Post LCD SCREEN PROB

    Well I bought my MA AUDIO lcd screen..5.6" to be exact...so i thought i would get it going by plugging it into one of my computer plugs using 12v which it needs...backlight comes on but cant get video for the life of me...from playstation or computer...WHAT CAN THIS BE>>> It truly is getting to me but i hope its something simple?

    Your using the right cables? The jumpers on the screen are right?

    I don't know much about these LCD screens, but they are basically plug and play. Did the thing come with instructions? Is it compatible with composite video?

    make sure you are pluging the video cord in to the right connector ( sometimes its easy to hook the audio to the video ...etc.)

    look for contrast adjustments, - try it with a vcr, or playstation before the computer , sometimes the computer compoisit out has to be configed...
    then beat the hell out of the guy that sold it to you.

    HAHA
    I like gizmomkr's last idea. But anyway Im thinking about getting one of these screens too because they seem to sell for cheap. Does anyone have a working one? And does urs look nice? Like the eclosure and shell and buttons? Also how r u mounting it>?

    None of those ideas worked..I mean i have doubled checked this **** like ten times... jus a backlight and no picture...BAD SCREEN? could there be somethin else im doin wrong...I mean there is only a video input and then an ingnition wire ,12v, and ground. This is ****ing me offf!!!

    Try using an external PSU of at least 1A @ 12v preferably more (2A).

    I had the same problem with a different screen and all it needed was more power.
