    You triangulate with two scanners. the thrid point of the triangle is the transmitting source. for a 3d fix you would need three scanners. We did it with cb radios in college.

    You can buy a cell phone jammer that jams 800mhz police trunked systems. Then you buy a 10 watt in and 150 watt out amp. Bring down every cell phone and the local trunked radio system!
