Audi Dash kit

Hey fellas. Long time since I've been here, but I've been through a few cars since I had the idea to do the car pc thing. Any how I know have an Audi A6 (2000) and I want to mek this as painless as possible. So my first question, as I'm sure many more will follow is if any of you out there know if a Dash Kit (designed to be used to install either a 1 or 2 din aftermarket HU) can be used for one of the more popular screens sold here. This I think will be mush easier for me, and I could probably even have a car stereo installer do it for me. Any Audi owners out there care to voice in on this be my guest. Then again I'll take anyone's advice. Good lookin out.

<> CaseTronic makes a case that is 2" by 7(ish) but it's 10" deep.. a limiting factor for some dashes (so check yours).

The case tronics fit the epia M series motherboards.. which peak at about 1.3ghz and are by some estimations not the most powerful cpu. but your milage may very along w/ your specific needs.

I came across something that looks like a conversion kit for the lilliput screen, which allows you to put it in a in-dash housing of some sort. That looks cool and all, but not exactly what I'm looking for. What I wanna do is install the screen flat up, basically to give it an almost factory look. I want the screen to use the entire double din opening provided. Any suggestions on how I can find a dash kit to fit around the edges of the screen itself?

You can do it, it will have to be fabricated one way or another. Good luck.
