    Media Tank "all-in-one" enclosure

Saw this on bensbargains and immediately thought of the carpc. A single USB cable to this thing in your dash someplace, and you're golden. Take a look. BTW I'm not affiliated in any way.

not exactly... it holds both a 5.25 AND a 3.5 drive AND the media card reader... So in theory you slap in the HDD, and a DVD drive and it's all you need for the car-puter minus MB stuff obviously.

That's a pretty cool find. But I have to warn you. It's not compleatly USB paowered. You have to connect it to a wall out let or convert to to work with an Opus or something.

    System and other requirements
    *Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP
*Mac OS 9.X / 10.X or above (Ver.10.03,10.1,10.12) only in USB 1.1 mode.
    *USB 2.0/1.1 interface
    *Available power outlet
    *1 x 3.5-inch internal IDE HDD up to 300g
    *1 x 5.25-incc internal IDE device
*Note: The IDE drives is not included with the package

    Peace,

    Rafster
