    XM Radio question..

I see A LOT of people have XM on this board and from what it seems it's what A LOT of people use the most..

I don't have it and just had some questions..

What do you like most about it that you actually pay for the service instead of listening to thousands of mp3's?

What hardware do you need to run it on your carputer...

    Advantages / Disadvantages??

    Thanks!!

    Who...me
I'm not all that crazy about XM. They say no commercials, but I hear alot of nonsense. (commercial type announcements)
Not enough of my kind of stuff on there...but I'm weird. Classical, Opera, NPR, and "religious".
I do like the comedy station (it has 2), but it does repeat stuff I've heard several times.

Harware? I'm using the MXD 1000 box that I bought from Circuit City. (BTW:CC SUCKS!) they're the only ones that had it at the time.
Use the MXD1000 with your pc and I use Frodoplayer.

XM is worth it just for the Opie and Anthony talk show.

It's a talk show (very funny), they have their own channel. Ch 202 - It's premium but only an extra 1.99 a month and is WELL worth it.
