It's gotta be a fuse,
go check all the fuses again,
i did the same thing and some fuse like internalclock(or something) had blown.
If it's not a fuse,
its something bad, and beyond me...
I just got done installing an amp. I was about to go ride around to see how it sounded and when I started my truck I noticed I had NO interior lighting (dash / HVAC / cruise pods / etc). When I put on my parking lights I get nuttin inside OR outsie but when I put on my headlights JUST my headlights come on. Nothing else. No parking lights or anything.
I checked fuses and they look good.
What the heck could I of done!?!?
PS: I posted in general instead of audio so more people hopefully see it!

How did you hook the amp up? If you ran a wire form your battery (you should have) make sure you hooked up all the wires to the battery. Also check you should also have more fuses in the engine compartment.

Ahh yes.. I forgot about the fuses under the hood. I found a blown 15AMP. Replaced it with another 15AMP and turned my parking lights on and it blew instantly.Originally Posted by Naamanf
I had no problems with the amp and I thought everything went fairly smooth.
I ran a wire from my car battery's POS terminal to the amp. All that's on the battery are the two terminal cables..
What the heck??

Do you have a fuse on the positive wire coming from the battery to the AMP? You need a fuse inline on the positive wire within 18 inches of the battery.

Yes, I have a 50 AMP fuse about 6" from the battery inline with the power wire to the amp.

Maybe there is a shorted wire somewhere in your setup - maybe the positive and negative are switched or touching each other on your amp?
Also, where are the screen shots of your camera in action??
50 is a bit large to be usefull. My headlights are on a 25 or 30 I think.
