    Mounting slim DVD

    Hi all

Ive got a Panasonic CW-8123-b slim slot load dvd/cdrw drive. As im not using a proper computer case, how do i mount this flush to a flat surface without actually strapping it down with red string(any farmers out there should know what im talking about! ) The screw holes, if thats what they are, look tiny! Does anyone make a bracket for holding one of these slim drives?
Or does anyone have any tips for doing this?

    Any help

    Thanks

    James

I'm not sure what you are tring to mount to, but I made my own bracket
    for my slim slot dvd.
I got screws at the local hardware store and used alum. angles as bracket.

Once you have dvd drive mounted to alum angle, you can then attach to
    anything.

Depends what you are trying to mount it to. Brackets/screws, zip ties, blu-tac and duct-tape are all options. Som more info on what you're planning please.

I just bent some zinc steel to make mine (The back one I ran across the entire drive because I made tabs to mount one side of the 2.5 hard drive).

I think the screws are smaller than #4, I had a few left over laptop parts (like eventually what i used parts from, and floppy drive in the Toshiba bay adapter), so I didn't have to take them to the hardware store to try to find the right size.

red square is screw to hold slimline to bracket, blue is attachment to case, and yellow are the tabs for the hard drive (my configuration).
