I have the M10000 system with winXP SP2 loaded and ever since i installed my CNX1260 resume doesnt always work.. sometimes the ascii progress bar gets to the end and music starts to play and 1 out of 3-4 times it will not it will just hang there with the progress bar full. this usually happens when the computer is cold or has been sitting for a while.

i am using a 40gig 3.5inch drive and im not sure if it has the fluid bearings or not..thats what the has brought up for me.. i really dont want to have to do a total shutdown and boot each time since its already so slow...

do i need a new hard drive? or some bios settings?
