Sounds like what happens to me with my GPS software.
OK chaps heres one for ye. I have several USB devices. On resume they come back to life and everything is dandy... But (hohoho) if some bit of software was using the device before the machine was put to sleep then this piece of software will not see the device after resume. Now if the software is subsequently closed and then reopened it will operate correctly again.
Now I know the likes of FP allows you to have stuff open after a resume. but what if you want the software to be closed and reopened as oppose to just having a new instance setup. even worse some software will give a big ugly error msg on resume!!
Is there anything out there (i can't find) that will:
1: On detecting a sleep mode being activated, close a set of app instances (by your spec) ie. close stuff
2: On resume reopen fresh instances of the shtuff it closed.
thanks please help dudus's.
