You're not currently going to find anything that sounds as good as a headunit.
Ok i think i have searched every thread on this board and i still have yet to find any positive posts about getting good FM/AM radio in a car through a computer "USB or PCI". From reading the DLINK IS Shiet. The GemTek FMRadio 21 USB is no longer being made. I liked the atenna port for it. I see this Hauppauge mentioned alot and still have yet to find any good reviews on about it. When someone says it works good for them that doesnt mean its going to be good for me. What i want to know is if the sound is as good as the headunit in my car sounds? Ive read all the postings on Seth's project. Sounds great and ill definatly look into it when it is done. I undesrtand a date can't be set as to when somthing will be finished thats is kinda hard when it comes to development of somthing new. So where i am stuck is i need to order somthing within this week in order to get it anytime soon and save money. Does anyone have any solid opinions as to what i shouild purchase for radio that is compatible with Radiator, or should i just wait to see the final results of Seth's project.
Thanks for any replies and reads....

Then what seems to be the best out there as of now?Originally Posted by frodobaggins
I can't see that there is going to be any USB, or PCI radio's for that matter that come close to the quality of reception that you get with a decent Headunit or home stereo.
EDIT: There's a couple of fella's on here somewhere that are trying to make HU Quality Radio from scratch, now Im sure they would go to all that trouble if something already existed

Plus you don't get RDS/EON either! Main downside to this is that you have to keep on re-tuning whilst you drive around.

I have a D link usb radio connected to my cars aerial and I get awesome recption (I did my own version of Mastero - the same dude that makes the power supplies - mod) search for it, it involves grounding etc
My reception is awesome, I had a problem with "tinny" sounds as the usb radio was being fed into the mic in of the mobo, once I changed this to the CD in (4 pin connection) on the mobo it was awesome, as good as the factory deck I replaced !
