1. No I did not go to college. I started work when I was 14 so I was fulltime by the time everyone else was going to college.

cash_money : I am sorry that you do not believe me but it all comes down to the fact that I have nothing to prove. If you cant accept that someone my age made himself to where he is now by working hard then so be it. You are entitled to that opinion. The only purpose of this thread was to get comments on some of my design goals, not to prove to people why I have the cars that I do.

ST34LTH, I hope you are not getting offended by our questioning. Simply put, a person of your age making the salary you are describing is unlikely. Of course its possible, but its not common by any sense of the word. We just want to know more about you and how you did so well.

it is completely different to be paying for everything but still living with your parents VS paying for everything and living on your own. you completely have a disposal income VS paying all your bills for ALL real expenses.

if I still lived at home, i could afford cars like this. but I DON'T and pay for everything, living by myself in a one bedroom apartment with no debt. and that's why i drive a civic (a high end, but a civic none the less).

I'm 24, been working since I was 14 at part time jobs (sometimes several at a time...), but it was not until I turned 19 that I started real full time job at $42k a year for two years as web developer, then I was unemployed for a year and half living off unemployment and my savings, and now have worked the past two years at $50k in a non-IS job. you can easily say i've been around the block and back.

for the first 3 years, I was paying in full for full time college while working full time. all becuase the !@#!@$!@#@# government would not provide me any grants because I was under 25, not married, not in the military, and combined my salary with my parents.

I know some of you out there are like me...worked your *** off to get where you are. and I respect that. however, if you are trying to show off your bling bling and still live at home, you are not living out in the real world. its better that you are paying your parents for your expenses, but is only pseudo.

cash_mony : you have especially created a rash in my thread. In fact, your last comment was proof you did not even read the thread.

Its interesting that you say something like that because it makes it so obvious you did not read the thread at all. Not more than two posts above you, I had someone say they were 21 and broke and asked me how to get to my plateau in life. (Id love this person to chime in) I answered the person and carried on with the thread. I am NOT interested in talking about my job, my wealth or anything else. Instead I came here to share ideas on my car computer project. If you would like to dwell on what age I am and why I have more than you (according to you), then go ahead but make it by PM.

Would I still be persecuted if I came to this forum with a honda civic (I own one) or an Acura.....

kickercivic1 : "Your the man".... Ok, I guess you are just jumping on this bandwagon thinking you are going to score a couple points on me. Not going to happen. Its not IF I was employed at 14 - I WAS employed at 14. This is not an interview, I have nothing to prove to you, I dont need to give you references. As far as my salary, only my fiancee and my parents know the ins and out of my salary - sorry, thats not for anyone elses use.

Oh, and what a comment about college. You ask how I pass people that have gone to college. Sorry, this just shows that you are someone who was told that if you go to the college then you make big $$$. Look, out of all the people who work for me, only about half of them go to college. The ones that went to college are just the same as others. Experience is always going to eclipse education in my opinion. I am sorry you are feeling like a "loser" but that was NOT the point of this thread. I did not boast about what I have but instead was queried about it and I answered. If it makes you feel bad that I am younger (?) than you and you believe I have more, I am sorry. That is something only you can correct.

Bailey : I dont want to say that I am offended by this questioning and I understand it may be hard to believe that I have what I have by hard work, determination and constantly looking for something new to do. ALl my friends can vouch that I am always looking for the next big thing to get into and always looking for ways to diversify what I "do" and what I can make money with.

Finally, can we get back to my project. I would love some input from you guys!

You know - out of all of this Im really surprised that nobody has said yet that the car was mine. Hmmm .... oh well, I would REALLY like some ideas for this car.
