    NDIS drivers

    please, send me an example of how do i set up a network card (PCI) on a mp3 player based on DOS 7.1.

    I have a realtek RTL 8139.

    You'll need DOS drivers for your Realtek NIC. Make sure there are some and you've got them.
    The drawback to DOS networking is that you have to map drives using NET USE statements to copy files, unlike Windows2000/XP where you can utilize a network location from its UNC name.
