Look in the Show Off Your Project forum. I've seen a number of PCs installed in armrests.Originally Posted by Skraggy_uk

It's a Gen5 with a liftup armrest.
Plan is, remove the standard cassette rack, fit the Epia, 3.5" HDD, Opus 150watt PCB PSU, a wintv card for FM and slim slot DVD into the console below the armrest to the rear of the Ebrake/manual shifter. That way, I only need to lift the armrest to change cd/DVDs.

I've tried searching through there, but a lot of the promising ones have the famous red X for every image.
Just hoped someone would still have a work in progress.

That is a nice install. I don't reckon the armrest in the Celica is wide enough to lay the mobo flat, so I won't get to keep use of the bucket section, just fill a board across the top, to mount the DVD rom through. I like that though, nice and clean. Should be able to get the Mobo in sideways though.Originally Posted by blurp

Yeah, I would've had tons more room if I'd given up the bucket. But at the time I did it, I wanted it as stock as possible.
