Reply With Quotemay help if you look up gnunilink but go the other way. I am looking into a gnunilink to a dismembered sony HU with the LCD mounted in the dash tp show mp3 names etc when running audio off the PC but there is not a huge amount of info.
first off, i have done a search but only found stuff about the bus in work around. i am wondering if it is possible to control a changer from a car pc. i am going without a head unit but set my system up on my home stereo and the mp3s sound worst than cds in my laptop drive so i thought i could keep ten of my best disks in a sony changer, the changer has a bus control and audio output but that is about all i know about it. it also has cd text and custom file and antishock. not needing the text from the disk but will my pc be able to read the disk and get the name from the net? thanks!

It seems a good next project for me to work on. I already have Alpine M-Bus working.
