An FM modulator is exactly what you want. It plugs directly into the antenna port on your head unit. It doesn't need an antenna since feeds directly into the head unit.
Hi Im Kyle, I have a 92 Ford Probe I have been using as my hobby car, I am having a lot of fun boning up on knowledge about psone lcd monitors, but now Im ready to figure out the sound aspect.
I have a panasonic cq3100-u HU and it has a CD Changer input(R/W RCA inputs) Ive already tried to use a Y-adapter to send sound to my HU through my laptops headphone out and that doesnt work.
I was thinking about the antenna plugin in the back of my HU, its useless since I dont have an antenna, is there an adapter available that would plug into the back of my HU where my antenna would plug in, and enable me to listen to other peripharal this way.
BTW I think an FM modulator would be useless since I have no antenna.
Thanks Alot,
Kyle

it could just be that I'm still nursing my hangover ... but don't they make fm modulators that simply plug into an ant jack?
edit: like this
don't worry i know i usually don't make much sense
SO it plugs into your antenna jack and the other end plugs your rca cable in?
BUMP Please answer the ? real quick
three ports.. One is antenna in from the original car's antenna, 2nd is antenna out, which goes to your headunit. 3rd is the rca's, so your computer/whatever can send sound to your headunit through the antenna port.
