    Low profile AMD XP 2500 heat sink (no fan) needed

    In order to fit in the 3" high aluminum case I'll be putting under the passenger seat, I need a fanless heat sink that's not very tall (probably about 2" at most). I'm thinking of putting a 60mm fan mounted to the case edge and fabricating a wind tunnel over it and the heat sink (the cpu is right by the motherboard edge). To do that, I need a heat sink with the fins parallel to the mounting clip.

    So for I haven't seen any that fit the bill in my searches. Does anyone know of any?

    You're going to have a hard time making adiquate cooling without a fan. Is it an MP?

    Well he will still be setting up cooling it wont be entirely passive, but is it an MP?

    I'm intending to have a fan - just not on top. It's a 2500 XP but I'll probably run it underclocked at 1800.
