Can you take a high resolution photo of the board?
It's difficult to tell without looking at the PCB.

    Lightbulb

Yes we need to look at the Morex board to see whats wrong if you could throw it under scanner that be better

1 thing I have done to my Morex is cable tied the 2 screw holes onto the case as I believe that is part of the Problem with the Morex just becoming dead all of a sudden the metal screw short it.

Hey I could be wrong but no harm in using cable ties as my Morex has worked like a charm for ages now

LOL, they wanted to see a picture of YOUR board -- to see the damaged parts.

ahh ok.. i dont have a flatbed scanner.. sorry guys.. you can't physically see any discolouration so you can't see whats burnt out by a picture alone.. it'd be a capacitor or something

i just wanted to know if it would be the power board or the regulator that would be shot..
