Does anybody know of an amplified TV and FM antenna for use with auto 12Volt DC?
I found this neat little Jensen that would sit well on my rear-deck (sedan), but it seems the amplified power is AC only. I still haven’t decided on power for my carputer yet, but would hate to be forced into an inverter just to use a nice antenna.
Thoughts…comments…?

I've got one exactly like it, but haven't installed it yet. The amplifier works off of a 12v signal and the antenna is relatively low-key.
Just to let you know, unless you have one of those satellite dishes for the car, getting TV reception is not going to be pretty. TV signals don't work like FM/AM signals in that they don't work nearly as well when moving around in a car.

Yeah I know, it’s mostly for FM but would like to have the option to use the TV tuner if stationary for a period of time. Better this than not at all…...getting TV reception is not going to be pretty
