Thread: Can the CW-8123 read/write mini CDs?

I have one, but I haven't actually turned it on. My predition: if you want to be fishing them out.

I don't know of ANY slot-loading CD/DVD drive that can take 3" discs, even with an adaptor. My Kenwood HU's manual specifically states they're not to be used.

Yah, my guess is that it doesn't work but I wondering if anyone here had tried it since there doesn't seem to be mentioned in any of the on-line sales literature/reviews I've found.

I tried one by accident stuck in the top drive of my spare pc without thinking, a pioneer dvd drive, I stopped at the last second as it dissapeared into the drive and got it back with my fingernails. The cd had still not hit the transport mech switch to pull it in.
