Need help fast please!
Sup guys i saw some wiredo ad asked he same question but no one had solved it .ok her's my question i have this dell desktop and it has a slim idc50 connectoe for the secondary drive some how i found a Jae50 to IDC50 connector to connect it.Where i went wrong is i didnt look for a suitable idc50 cable and seems its nowhere to be found except in dell side for $30.so i connect it with a 44pin Cable not a floppy diskcable, and every thing works fine ht CD drive gets power it ejects and can here it readin CD's when inserted one.the problem is the computer didnt dectet it and thers no way to do it manually.thers 6 pins left so do I have to connect them all or are those for master /slave config . So if any one have an idea please let me know

It appears as though he's trying to shove a 44pin cable into a 50 pin connector. Hmm... Doesn't seem right, does it?
