    removeing laptop screen..

i would like to mount my laptop under the seat on some runners, so i can get to the keyboard i will take the lid off as the tft is cracked. i have it set up so the screen is off and i only get a display from my vga out socket. can i just remove the screen and unplug the connectors from the motherboard or is this likely to damage my laptop? thanks!

you should be fine just removing this. Output should still work via the VGA port fine. I have done this on several laptops when there in for repair and I want to check the motherboard before putting them all back together.

    Cheers
