the P1900 power supply is out now!!! How does this PSU monitor if our boards are on or off?
Can the BMP remove the 80pin conductor error message for the secondary ide port?Originally Posted by Giuliano

When jumpered for "Standby" the P1900 monitors the current being drawn by the CarPC system. If it exceeds approximately 1 amps during Standby, the P1900 will go into Forced Shutdown mode. How does this PSU monitor if our boards are on or off?

It would be ideal (but I don't know how it would be done) if there could be a way for it to put the computer into Hibernation from Standby when the battery is about to reach the low voltage cutoff.Originally Posted by MikeH
Hmmm... is this possible?

The only way I would see it working is if (when in standby) the computer could get a signal (serial port?) telling it to Hibernate. That is if you can receive signals from the serial port while in standby. You can set a laptop to hibernate when the battery reaches a certain %, and it'll do it even when in Standby. But I'm sure the laptop has something built into its motherboard monitoring the battery levels.Originally Posted by MikeH
Right now I just have my computer set to Hibernate after being in Standby for 5 mins. Although I have to pause music or video playback to put it in an "idle" state.
It looks like Commell is returning my board that I sent back because of my problems with different soundcards.
Apparently the south bridge was "bad", despite my efforts to try and get some more information
as to what actually was "bad" and how that could have happened, that's all the info I got.
Heck, I didn't even think it was possible to change the southbridge, so it should be interesting
to see if there will be any other changes too it. The service information also said "BIOS update",
but I allready had the latest so that's also going to be interesting.
Hopefully I'll have it back by the weekend, I'll keep you all posted.

have you guys seen this? they might be headed somewhere with this.... hmmmmmm
if they only have an option for more storage and some better power options (standby, hibernate) then this might be a pretty good all-in-one system for those who dont wanna do it themselves(just wanted to see what you guys thought of this)

Hey guys,
I have a lv-671 CelM 1.4, with a cnx-1900 psu. I'm having issues with it using the acpi function. I did the relay just like in the diagram avail here but no luck!!![]()
I was wondering if anyone had issues with this setup or if there might be some bios issues.
I can't think of anything else, and I don't want to mess it up.
