Celeron mobile cpu on a standard s478 board

Hello,

I've not managed to find an answer to this anywhere in the forums, despite seeing many peoples sigs sporting celeron-m's.

I have just a standard Intel desktop board based on the 845 chipset. Will the s478 celeron-m processors work on this or any board without modification? Also, they don't appear to have the standard metal casing around the die, is it still just a case of thermal paste then throw a heatsink on?

I have bought the same one cpu on ebay and I would want to buy one mother board, which specific it must have?
