Check the book supplied with your motherboard. If its a new install they set the jumpers at the lowest default expecting you to change the multiplier to match the chip you put in. This is basically so the mboard wont fry your cpu if you have not set it up. If the board has been used before it may still be at the old cpu settings.Originally Posted by Mush
