I am seriously looking at getting a PD10000 mainboard for my carputer project. It's the only mobo that has most of the features I want with very few features I don't want. The only problem I could find with it is actually a fairly large one. It only has 2 channel audio. It doesn't have the 6 channel, 5.1 capability.

Is there any way to get around this without adding a PCI card? (other than learning to live with only 2 channels) I don't have the space for a PCI sound card. Is there any way to get 6 channel sound with a USB device? I'll also have 4 free COM ports and an extra IDE port but I don't think that helps much.

Here's my secondary concern: (very minor) I read on the forum here the Opus and the PD don't get along so well. (something about the computer not waking up) Is this still a problem? Are there any problems with using the M1-ATX? What difference would a power supply make anyway? Doesn't the power supply just (suprisingly) supply power?

Are there any other issues with the PD I need to know about? Are there any reviews for it?

Thanks!!
