    converting my radio plug

ok, this thing here is currenlt my stock antenna plug that plugs into the back of my headunit.

Now is there anyway to get an adapter for this so that I could plug it into a capture card with a FM IN port and use Frodoplayer to control my radio?

I dont have a capture card yet, but by looking at the pics, the ones with the FM IN port, the hole seems to be smaller than the male end of the jack my car has. So does anyone know the name of the plug that plugs into the FM IN port?

Yes you can, if you go to radio shack, or online look at the BNC Connectors, thats what i did.

yes, no need a motorola to bnc adapter...
    (radioshack #278-117)
then from bnc, you can virtually go to any type of connector you need.

I just did that this weekend. motorola to bnc to rca.

From reading the boards I know that most people arent achieving headunit FM quality. Is this mod making much of a difference?

Not a mod per se; just using the car's antenna to connect to an FM tuner, to [hopefully] improve reception.

nappyjim: why are you posting the same question in multiple forums? Were my explanations not clear enough?
