i have a Stock Dodge Ram 98' Head Unit, i want to see if there is a way for me to get it to work inside the house..
like on a normal wall outlet, i mean if it works in the car, there HAS to be a way to do this, i am not sure what i would use it for yet, but i need something to do, something to mess with and experiment with, and help would be nice
its just sitting here on my desk
i KNOW i could use it for something...
XP Pro SP2, Soyo P4RC350 MB, Nvidia FX5200, 320W PS, Inverter & uSDC20D, 2.4GHz CeleronD320, 512MB DDR, 30GB 3.5", Pioneer 106s Slot DVD, Linksys WMP54G WiFi, Lilliput 7" & 4" TFT LCD, Zippy EL610 Keyboard, Touchpad, Garmin GPS V
A deep cycle battery could run it for many hours as well.
1.6GHz HP e-PC, 768MB RAM, 120GB WD HDD, Slim DVD-ROM, Onboard sound & video, 7" Lilliput, USB GPS Mouse, Audiovox FM Modulator, Vector 400 Watt Power Inverter, Windows XP Pro SP2, iGuidance 2, 15" Samsung LCD for the rear *Carputer not installed*
are there any guides to do this, can anybody show me?

A junkjard may also have the radio harness for you- I paid $10 for a radio harness from the junkyard.
Iwill ZPCgx 2.4ghz cel, 256mb pc2700, external combo drive, 80gb 2.5 laptop drive, xp pro, usb gps, 7 in Lilliput TS , carnetix CNX1900. All mounted ghetto- still experimenting and tweaking.

You have to go to a junkyard, and find any Chrysler (not Jeep or Mitsubishi made) car or truck from '81 to 2000 and cut the wiring harnesses out of it. Make sure you get one from a vehicle with a AM/FM radio. The AM-Only radios only have one speaker and will be wired as such. It doesn't show on the diagram, since they aren't used on most aftermarket stereos, but the Radio Dimmer wire (dims the display when +12v is applied) (cavity J) is Black w/Yellow Stripe, and the Headlight Dimmer wire (lights up the buttons/legends) (cavity K) is Orange.
Since you have a Ram, check out www.RamchargerCentral.Com.. Lots of cool help/resources for Dodge truck owners!
