Unhappy NEED HELP... PLEASE... Home PC is Down..

I hate to do this, but I could really use some help right now...
I popped my home PC open last night just to compare its mobo layout to the layout of the Biostar mobo I'll be using for my carputer... Before you know I took out one of my RAM sticks and put it back... Booted the PC and it worked fine, booted it this morning and it wouldn't work... I tells me this message "Ultra66 BIOS Not Installed" then takes me to the screen where I can choose to "Start in Safe/VGA Mode", "Last Good Known Config", "Start Window Normally" etc.... When I select either one, it reboots the pc and does the same thing over and over... it never actually goes to the screen that loads Windows...
Inside my PC I have about 5 PCI slots... and in one of them is a PCI card that reads "Ultra ATA 66"... that card has 2 IDE slots, but nothing's connected to them... (the board has 3 IDE slots which take care of my HDD/ROM/Floppy)
That card also has a 4-pin connector (reads LED) and it has a lil' wire with a 2-pin connector plugged to it and leads to another 2-pin on the board...
I kinda' messed up and pulled out that lil' wire and I'm not sure where it goes... (last 2-pins, first 2-pins, middle 2-pins?)... I'm not sure what's wrong, but please... any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the bios and see if there is anything funky. Like the other guy said, rip it out. Switch the ram to another module if you have two slots. You could also remove everything and boot with one item at a time until you run across the error , and or reflash the bios.

I told him the same thing about removing the card, over instant message... I also told him Ill be over tomorrow, and see what I can do. Can anyone help him out tho, maybe I can save a trip and toll??? hehe

Its easy to get help, but it also depends on the situation and how much info one can relay over the net that he will understand or reaseach properly, to help his situation.

I am sorry I got confused towards the end of your post could you clarify about the pins?

The board is a IDE control board. The pins you are describing that say LED sound like they are just the pins that you plug a HDD light into for your case. Could you clarify the rest?

    Ulta66 BIOS Not Installed???

I wish I could post pics, but that's the ONLY PC I got o do so.... (using GF's laptop to write this) ... I don't know how to "check BIOS" or "reflash the BIOS"
Basically put, the card that reads "Ultra ATA 66" is only connected to the MB in two ways... 1- the fact that it's in a PCI slot... and 2- that lil' wire (two twisted wires red/black)... The card has the 2 IDE slots (nothing connected to them) and it has 4 pins and by the pins (on the card) are written in white the words LED...
The lil' wire has two ends with connectors, one goes to the "Ultra ATA 66" card and the other end plugs to this other 2-pin connector on the actual Motherboard...
I'll try anything you guys suggest, just gimme step by steps and I'll be on it... Thank you so much for the replies... This forum and you guys are great!!!

    argh!

    PARTIALLY repaired...
First off, I tried removing the whole card from both PCI slot and disconneted the wires... However, my monitor didn't come/turn ON at all...
SO, I replaced the card into the PCI slot BUT left the lil' wires disconneted... This time around, the monitor turned ON... YET, it still said "Ultra66 BIOS not installed"... then it read "To Boot From CD Press Any Key..." It took me to the screen where I got to choose "Start Windows Normally" and BOOM... Windows started properly... I'm like WTF?? ???
So I decided to run another test, I shut it OFF and turned it back ON... It did the same thing again, except this time around, it ran a "Disk Check" right before it loaded Windows... now... I AM happy that it's working, but I'm puzzled as to why it's doing this all of a sudden? Any way I can go back to a normal smooth BOOTING process??? again???
