    Nitrous + Carputer?

Has anyone integrated nitrous into a carputer? I was just thinking how cool it would be to have like a 'boost' button on your computer. You could set it up to an adjustable timed relay so you can set how long you want it to spray.

Scary stuff but yeah ive thought about this, im not sure i would totally relie on the pc though, i think i would use the pc to set up an external control box to adjust PWM on the solenoids much safer, cooler and wont have any speed issues as with I/O

I'd hesitate to do this (via the computer)
I'd be afriad of some software issue and suddenly getting a shot when i wasn't ready, plus i'm a fan of the big red switch.

Yeah, thats how i was planning on doing it, using a PIC to do the PWM which you send commands to from the PC,

Basically a progressive nitrous controller that is given its commands from the PC.

Then if the PC crashes your engine doesnt blow too!

I'd dearly love to see a voice-activated nitrous!! Keep egging Andrew, but he's not having any of it....
