512mb sdram pc 133 for via epia 800mhz motherboard

hi to all, does anyone have an idea if the regular sized dimms 512mb pc 133 sdram will work for my epia mini itx board 800mhz? or do i have to use the low profile rams? is there a difference? what specs of the ram should i get? what is the meaning of low density? does this apply to me? help thanks

any recommendation to what i should use?

Yes regular pc133 ram will work, you don't have to use the low profile ram unless you need it because of clearance in a small computer case.

Get The ViaepiaM21200 Mini Itx iam pretty sure it will support a gig, i am currently running 512 but its gotta be DDR, that seems to be more than enough thou if i run mediaengine as default shell i can be listening to music, running gps and playing Playstation (epsxe emu) at full enhanced graphics via pete's direct 3d plugin the same time with no probs. Jus turn epsxe sound off and you have games for ya mates, music for u and Gps guiding you via voice. All at the touch of a finger. Perfect CarpC

You can't have bought the right RAM. The 800 can support up to 2 x 512MB Dimms.

Buy the Kingston ValueRAM part no. KVR133X64C3L/512

    That works with no problems.
