    Awesome, has anybody tried these? Seems like it would be perfect if you were planning on running a usb hub up front.

    i have the ebay linked one it works well but i think it has slowed down my boot time.

    Were you using it on the HD or a cd/dvd drive? I just need one for the dvd drive.

    i'm pretty sure lots of people use them. Cheapest way is to use a hacked up USB2 IDE enclosure i reckon. They can be bought dirt cheap.

    That's how we ebay sellers get some money that we DON'T have to pay E-bay a comission on.

    I have 4 of them

    1 for my car PC, one in an external casing (original USB controller died), and 2 for "testing" purposes (backupping stuff when fixing PC's and so on)

    I got them from a hongkong based seller, since they have the same shipping rates to Europe as well.... I payed 13 EUR for each one, 3 months ago.
