Thread: Nice knobs, buttons, momentary switches?

Yah, nice knobs are a Good Thing. I once had this girlfriend who had... well, that's not important right now.

I've been after some stuff in the UK to allow me to make a control similar to the Powermate but no luck so far.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this thread. Check out ww.directron.com btw.

BTW its important to remember that, whatever knobs you end up with, that they be made of natural materials.

A lot of "vendors" have knobs made of synthetic material that just doesn't feel quite right.

Lots of folks swear by the flashy synthetic knobs that are almost too big to handle comfortably (!); stick to natural ones and you'll be happy.

size isnt so important for me, i'm more about the shape

I was waiting for you to post that . And everyone know's it's all personal preference. I personally prefer the big juicy...err....aluminum smooth knobs.
