problem is (that looks like its) software based encoding. 4 X 30FPS = lots of CPU power. My athlon XP 2800+ w/1 gig of ram sits around 40% to render one channel on my ATI All-In-Wonder.....if it were doing 4 i suspect XP would implode and die.....

Yeah, you can tell it's mostly using CPU for the hard work because look at the parts count on that board. There's almost nothing on it :-P

Crikey, I actually have this card (bought it for one of my restaurants) but haven't installed it yet. I'll try to give a pirep on it once I get it going, if I can find it.
