    Dirt cheap ram

Did ram prices plummet anywhere else?
Down here in Peterborough Ontario ram prices just dropped drastically
I am starting to buy parts for my home system and a couple of days ago
    Kingston 512 pc3200 ram went from 179$ to 58$!
I was just wondering if this has happened anywhere else..

yes, they have been going down steadily the past week or two. seems like the trend continued today as well. wounder how low they will go, guess they're trying to push out ddr infavor to the next generation ddr2 modules.

Yup, confirmed, new sticks of unbranded ram are being marked down by up to 40% (if you know where to look) in the UK for the past month at least- the majors should surely be following. Even ddr2 is reduced, but not by quite as much.
