    Help me identify this connector...

I took apart my Mazda steering wheel and the clockspring has this kind of connector. Any ideas who makes them so I can buy some pins and sockets to match? I can't find any writing anywhere...

Hmm, the sockets are female but the housing is male so I think it's straight...

Doesn't look that far off a floppy drive power connector does it ?

more likely Asexual as it can reproduce by itself.

there is an idea, jsut wrap it up warm, give it some food and in the morning you will have another one. No need to go down the shop!

But don't feed it after midnight. Or get it wet. Otherwise you'll get a gremlin.

But seriously, check with your local Mazda service department for something like a Connector or Wiring Repair Kit. Its not a "standard" connector. But if you can use the white plastic housing, then Digikey may have the pins to go into that housing if they're either .100" or .156" (it's a little hard to tell scale from the picture).

    .100" Digikey WM2612-ND
.156" Digikey WM2300-ND (Not square like the picture but may still work)

    Hope this helps.
