I'm using winxp with the standart onboard s3 video card Vt1621 with or without dvd-rom doesen't make difference and it happens at the beginnig of the movie always. I've used diffrent kinds of software like bspplayer, media player classic or windows media.

Without seeing the output of the bluescreen code (which would name the module that is failing along with a hex dump) I would assume from your description so far that your mpeg video codec is borked. If you could post the error on the bluescreen would help.

The codecs are part of your operating system, not something on the media itself. That the discs work fine on another operating system only proves the point that the issue is with your OS, either a codec issue or a display driver issue. Or do you actually mean that this happens regardless of what OS you run the discs on? If that is the case you media is hosed.

The hex error you gave isn't enough information. 0x00000007f is just a pointer to *where* in a module's code the error is happening. Prior to the hex address you would have an actual module or system file name like NTKRNL or vga.sys. That's what is needed to help point you in the right direction of fixing the problem.
