the c600 should be fine for running in the car, you will need a incar charger, I would recommend going for a proper dell charger rather than a 3rd party one, at least you will get the right end to plug in for a start! If you dont want to hack the c600 up to get to the power switch, although I dont think it would be much, just removing the thin plastic strip along the top so you can get to the button.. o.. yeah if you dont want to hack it up, then get a port replicator ebays a good place to start, although I had a couple of probs with this coming loose in the car on my 1st install. On the plus side your getting a decent machine with a ATI gfx card. O... just remembered --- The C600 can suffer from feedback from the audio out port. I sold a couple of these to dj's which were returned the next week due to mouse noise being heard through the speakers, it was ok when it wasnt amplifyed, but when it was it was shocking.. I would check this out before doing anything. The opted for the older cpx model.. this problem seemed to have been solved by the c610. You could always use the mp3 creative usb 1.1 sound card ! anyway I could go on for a bit but I wont. .
