    Quick question regarding usb hubs

I'm thinking of getting another hub ( have a ext 1.1 hub). What are the benefits on getttin internal vs. external.. other than the obvious remote location of the external. Specifically i'm wondering if an internal usb hub will be able to power the same way an external powered unit does. Right now when i plug my cell phone into the 1.1 hub it freezes up my touchscreen pretty bad. I'm trying to prevent that and add more ports in case i need them.

No benefits to internal vs. external IMO, unless you need to upgrade to USB 2.0.
