I have two existing carputers, that are both powered off invertors, which is why I want to upgrade to the OPUS, but I want to find a case that works well with that motherboard, and can mount the OPUS properly.

Not sure why you were telling me about AC power.

I have the Biostar MB and the case I bought for it came with a power supply. The Opus 150 is smaller than the 200W PSU that came with it. All I had to do was pull out the PSU that came with it and screw the Opus in. Then when I bring the computer inside I just unplug the Opus and plug the other one in.

The Flat (Desktop style i guess) 4" high cases with horizontal mounting drives is the style im talking about.

And yeah the athenateck would be my final pick too.

I can only speak for the Athenatech case, as that is what I am building on now. Let me just say that that HD isn't going ANYWHERE. The metal shroud that attaches the HD to the bottom rail of the 5.25 drive cage is incredibly solid and fits very well. The only thing that I would really need to "shockmount" would be the case to the rear seats, and I think I am probably going to use some rubber grommets or something like that.

Oooo, that looks pretty cool, hopefully you can place it somewhere to show it off hehe. I'm thinking of building my next desktop system as a microatx, and this case would be one of my choices - hopefully it drops in price by the time I get around to it hehe.

    I have a full size Lite-On cd-rw/dvd combo drive.

My opus is powering the motherboard & it's connections (athlon mobile cpu, cpu fan w/4 leds, 2x256 ram, wifi pci card), desktop harddrive, desktop dvd drive, 4 port usb hub via usb/ps2 port, 16 in 1 card reader, usb bt dongle, usb zippy el keyboard, a usb logitech wireless transmitter, and usb touchscreen controller (although I'm not sure if uses the usb power or aux monitor power).

My monitor is powered thru aux power, and my reverse camera is tapped into the reverse lights power.

It probably doesn't matter, but I use an Optima Red Top battery.
