just a quickie, does freedrive (with destinator 3) still work in the background whi`ll watching a dvd or listening to music?
i.e if im watching a dvd/listening to music, does it still give you voice directions?

Yeah it should function exactly the same as MapMonkey in regards to voice announcements.
