    Has any one had problems booting from a usb Thumb drive? with a Via mb

    I had one boot on another board But I can't rember what I had to do to make it bootable. Besides put the boot files on the drive. PLz hlp

    set "USB_HDD" as your first boot device in your BIOS Setup. Thats it. Works well on my Epia M.

    Yeah I did that and no go. how did you config the thumb drive?
    I used "fotmat /s" and no boot

    If anybody cares
    It will only boot on a diff bm if the mb is set to boot from a removable usb drive (wich this board doesn't support )

    So is there a bios updat that will fix this for my via mini itx board it6 runs at 1ghz
