    USB troubles

    Anyone ever heard of the usb port not working except for the touchscreen?
    I have a laptop cd drive connected to a usb cable, and the computer picks it up as a floppy drive, no idea why, except for the fact that it draws power from a floppy power connector...I have also one of those, 2 usb/2 firewire add-on pieces, and it will not recognize anything.

    how is the laptop drive connected to usb? is it in an enclosure of some form?

    I bought the ide adaptor from mp3car, and bought an ide to usb adaptor.
