    Some wiring questions

Just skip the whole search flames if possible, I'm tired of digging through stuff.

Basic info: I have a M1-DC (M1-ATX) power supply that came with my case, and I have a Xenarc touchscreen. WARNING: I know **** about electricity.

    Okay, on to the questions:
    1) Powering the PC. There seems to be 3 wires coming off of the PSU and out of the case, a red, a white and a black. I assume the white is for the battery (+), I assume the black is ground, what the hell does the red one do? Is this thing supposed to come with directions? Ah, nevermind. Found directions online. Do I have to run the black back to the battery or can I just ground it?

Hmm. Okay, I found directions online.

New questions: How the hell do I connect the Amp to that connection on the PSU? Is this thing supposed to come with jumpers, cause I haven't got those either. Bah. Can I get these jumpers and weird connectors at radio shack?

    2) Powering the xenarc. Okay, all I could gather from that useless sticky was you can get 12v off the yellow wire on the molex connectors. Does it matter if it's a small or a big one? I just cut the molex off, cut the wire that normaly goes into the xenarc, and hook up some long *** wires in the middle?

Ground to anything thats metal and attached to the bodywork or chassis- only run it back to the battery if your running obscene amounts of amplifiers.

if you already have an amp set up you may want to miss out the amp remote, its just a low level voltage trigger to turn it on, if you already have a head unit you intend to keep you wont need the remote out. If you do itll just be a long wire and a ring terminal (a 10c crimp) at the amp end.

Dont cut the molex off, just get a blank male one and crimp/solder it to make a proper lead that you can use in any molex- I used a cheap cigar lighter adapter and cut the cigar plug off, added the male molex to the cut end and used the right sized power plug on the other end.

Ah, forgot to mention I don't have a head unit. It died and sort of kick-started my carpc plans. I have a Y splitter molex, I think I can use that. I think I can also use the ignition/accessory wire that was formerly going to the head unit, which will make things easier for me. I'm putting in two amps and a sub. New to the audio stuff too, at some point you just get sick of searching for stuff, ya know? Thanks for the tips!
