    m1-atx help needed

I have an M1-ATX PSU.. been running like a champ ..

HOWEVER, I was just turning the volume up on CF and it just shutoff, I figured something funnyhappened.. maybe the CPU got too hot. or something.

so I took it out.. the machine boots with a normal PSU .. and I looked and the FB1 component seems a bit "warmed" .. the underside of the m1-atx where the FB1 component is has a nice charred section.. only across 2 of the pads (4 total)..

I get some fan movement if I take out the fuse and pop it back in, the fans just budge a little. nothing else though..

I haven't looked to see if it is jsut the trace that is bad or the component is bad.. I would run it by radio chack. but they are a bunch of High School cell phone weenies that barely know where the "fun" stuff in the store is!..

the FB1 component is by the fuse, and power in.

    PLEASE HELP..
    Shawn

you should contact the makers of the m1.

it might be covered under the warranty.

    ask zip-lock who makes it.

he said he had a hand in designing it.

It's made by mini-box/iTuner. You can send them email and/or PM Andrewb on these forums. You should also be able to get support from whichever vendor sold it to you.
