SB Audigy 2 NX or Live 24-Bit External

I'm looking to upgrade my soundcard and am considering the the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX and the SB Live 24-Bit External. I'm almost positive that i'm not going to be using the soundcard outside of the car? Is it worth it to spend double the price to get the NX?

My cpu (m10000) is connected to an alpine HU through the aux in, and i am using the cpus line in and mic in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Here is a comparison chart of the Audigy 2NX and SB Live. There are a few differences, the major one (IMO) being that the Audigy can do 7.1 and the live 5.1, both are 24-bit. I got the Live! because I just don't need the stuff that the Audigy offers and it works great for me. It all depends on what you plan to do with your setup....
