Please advise the best way to get audio from a PC into an amp. Oddly enough, this seems to be the hardest part of my project (still planning.)
My plan is to use a mini-itx board. preferably a fanless. and a 8" touch screen. I would rather use Linux than Windows, but so far I have not found any good Software (I would love to build my own, I don' thave the time right now)
Please tell me how you get your line out to the amplifiers, and the os/touch screen software you use in your car.
I just use RCA's from my sound card to my amps. I use xp pro cause it seems to have the best support for things like power management and multiple monitor support. I use Road Runner for now, it seems to be good, slight problems here and there, but the guys still working on it for us ( thanks to all those who bust their butts to make our systems better!! ), so its always improving.
