hands free phone setup thru car speakers?

hey guys. i'm getting a 350z in a month or so and i'm gonna build a computer in it. one of the features i'm wanting to implement is being able to mount my phone somewhere, and be able to talk to someone hands free. basically i would have a sensitive microphone so i could just talk in my driver's seat, or anyone in my car could and the voice would be picked up. then i would want the person im talking to, to come thru the car's speakers. so you don't ever have to let go of the steering wheel to talk on the phone, without one of those damn yuppy looking headsets.

i think it would be really cool and impressive. i know on-star has something like that. my friend told me about it. anywayz, if this can be done, please tell me how. i'm on sprint, using a samsung phone thats about a year old, but im willing to upgrade/change services to do this.

hmmm. get a nokia and a car handsfree kit.
Wire the speaker to the line-in on the mobo>car amp>speakers.

I don't know why I found that so funny but it gave me a good chuckle alright. I guess I don't even know if that was an accident or intentional and sarcastic. I think it's about as funny either way.

while i know i shouldnt be spoiling noobs like this, but look into a program called phonecontrol (its got its own subforum here. look under the software category and support software). it will allow you to fully integrate your phone into your carpc.

thanks a lot. i just wanted to ask a question. this is a forum, not a document repository. its for the communication of ideas. i want peoples opinions on things, not just a how to.

Sure everyone understands you want help, we all need it at one point or the other. But in a forum with ~30,000 running threads and God knows how many users, do you think you're the first person to have this idea?

of course i don't think so, but there are people who tell you to search and there are helpful patient people who answer anyway. thanks to those who did the latter. if you don't want to help, don't fill the thread with useless "use the search" crap.
