    Is anyone running the following configuration...

    Is anyone running an AC/DC inverter with their current PC setup? If so do you have it so that the inverter automatically starts the PC upon start up or are you running it with any of the shut down controllers?

    I was running a PW-70 power supply with my ITPS and have sorta concluded that the PW-70 was not putting out enough power for the PC to run properly in the car. Hence I am not inclined to put in a standard home powersupply into the car and run an inverter which I already have. My only concerns now revolve around the convenience of having the ITPS hooked up and what I was able to do with that.


    Your thoughts?

    As a former ITPS victim with a PW-70 running an Epia M10000, I can say that I had reliability problems until I got rid of the ITPS and replaced it with a Carnetix 1260. Since then, NO problems with freezes, crashes, etc.

    Are you sure the problem is with your PW-70?
